Olivia & Deon

Olivia and Deon’s Wedding at The Paseo

Olivia and Deon’s wedding didn’t start with the ceremony.

It started with a memory.

A first date during the middle of the pandemic.
A long drive.
A quiet moment on a beach.

And a feeling they both came back to again and again:

It felt like home.

PRIVATE VOWS BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE

Before guests arrived, before the ceremony, they chose to read their vows to each other privately.

No audience. No pressure.

Just the two of them talking about where it all started—and how something that began in uncertainty turned into something steady.

That moment set the tone for the entire day.

A LOVE THAT FEELS LIKE HOME

A lot of their vows come back to the same idea:

Not just love—but peace.

The kind that shows up in small moments:

  • sitting next to each other

  • holding hands

  • resting your head on someone’s chest

Not something loud or overwhelming—just something constant.

Something that feels familiar.

THE PASEO

Their wedding took place at The Paseo, with the Superstition Mountains in the background.

It’s a setting that naturally creates space—wide open, quiet, and grounded.

Instead of filling every second with structure, they let the day unfold.

WORDS THAT CARRY THROUGH THE DAY

Throughout the ceremony and speeches, the same message kept coming up from different voices:

That they found the right person.

A partner. An equal.
Someone to build a life with—not just experience a day with.

FROM QUIET TO CELEBRATION

What started quietly didn’t stay that way.

By the time the reception began, everything opened up.

The dance floor filled. The energy shifted.

But even in the middle of all of it, the feeling from earlier in the day stayed the same:

It was still just them—together.

A FILM BUILT AROUND THAT FEELING

Parts of the day were shot on Super 8, layered in with digital footage.

Not to stand out—but to reflect something different.

Some moments feel sharp and immediate.
Others feel like memories already.

That contrast mirrors the day itself.

IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT THE PASEO

If you’re getting married at The Paseo, you don’t need to overcomplicate it.

The setting already gives you space.

What matters more is what you bring into it—and the moments you choose to create within it.

Olivia and Deon’s day worked because it started with something real.

And everything else followed from there.
