NICE TO MEET YOU – I’M JIMMY!

My favorite thing about creating wedding videos is giving the couples I work with the opportunity to relive the joy and heartfelt celebration of their wedding day. Video gives you the unique ability to be back in the moment – with voices, music, and movement you just can’t get from a still image. 

The wedding videos I create include big moments and small touches, all intentionally edited for a natural, cinematic feel that tells your love story the way it really happened. I love including aerial shots of your venue, real-time reactions to speeches, crazy dance moves, and all the hugs, kisses, toasts, and celebrations that happen throughout the day. These are the memories you’ll treasure now and for years to come.

SO JIMMY… WHY WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY?

Wedding videography was never the plan, but looking back, I can clearly see how I ended up here.

It all started when I was a 13-year-old skateboarder who loved goofing off with my friends and recording our sessions. The videos are terrible quality, but the memories are pure gold. 

After losing one of my close friends and fellow skateboarders at a young age, I realized how grateful I was to have those videos. Having a way to hear my friend laugh again, and watching us try new tricks (and yes, fall on our faces sometimes), was priceless.

A decade later, I bought myself a nicer camera and started learning how to create professional videos. I was into music production and thought I’d try my hand at YouTube tutorials, but it turned out that I had a knack for wedding videography. And I loved the work. 

I was burnt out at my job, so in December of 2019, I decided to quit and go all in on my wedding videography business. Things got a bit chaotic early on when the craziness of 2020 was in full force, but I stayed the course and grew my business as weddings returned. 

My passion for this work drove me to take a risk and leave my job, and I’ve never regretted my decision to become an AZ wedding videographer. Every time I hear a happy couple share how much their wedding video means to them – I know I made the right choice.
